Course Curriculum

Learning outcomes:

• Gain an honest insight into life as a FY1/FY2
• Be comfortable with NHS terminology and protocols
• Be equipped to respond to an acutely ill patient in a systematic way
• Be able to complete documentation that will be used daily on the wards including clerking proformas and more
• Understand what is the E-portfolio and how to complete it

• Module 1: Introduction to the NHS (Week 1)
• Module 2: What to do before your first job (Week 2)
• Module 3: Communication (Week 3)
• Module 4: Documentation (Week 4)
• Module 5: Completing your E-portfolio (Week 5)
• Module 6: How to respond to the acutely ill patient (Week 6)
